Centreville Virginia is in a fairly affluent area of Washington D.C so there is a great deal to see and do for both locals and visitors at any time of day or night in this bustling town in the heart of the nation’s capital region. One of the most popular venues is the Velocity Five on Trinity Parkway where patrons can grab a cold beer and a bite to eat while watching a live game of their favorite sport on one of the multiple screen televisions available within but this is also a late night bar that offers more of a club atmosphere too.

nightlifeThis well-known sports bar is open daily from 11am to 2am and there is always something going on here whatever the night of the week thanks to its chilled out ambience and the casual feel to the place that allows you to feel right at home. Friday, Saturdays and Sundays tend to be the busiest nights as these also have a DJ playing so the music can get quite loud and the dance floor full which is great if you are there with a group of friends but not really ideal for families although the bar does have wheelchair accessibility for the disabled. This establishment has both indoor and outside seating with a capacity for around 400 people and the inside area has two large bats while outside seats offer a view of the water with an outdoor patio area provided for smokers. Both bars are extremely well stocked with an excellent range of beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks which can be served direct to your table by their efficient and friendly waiting staff. Happy Hour is also a daily event with prices, times and offers varying depending on the day of the week.

For something completely different, then Lulu Karaoke & Café Bar on Centreville’s Braddock Road is great fun too whether you want to eat, drink, talk or sing! This has proved to be a regular favorite with many since it was established in 2005 not least because of its relaxing open lounge setting with a full bar offering a wide range of drinks, high caliber service, great food which offers traditional and contemporary Korean food often with their own special twist incorporated into the recipe, a state of the art media system and of course the karaoke rooms! These are charged by the hour and can be reserved for special occasions such as birthday or bachelor parties and have a wide range of songs including classic American pop tunes and lesser known popular songs from Asia too. Red Rocks Café & Tequila Bar is another venue (also on Braddock Road) where you are guaranteed a good time any night of the week with great food, a fantastic atmosphere and excellent drinks with fantastic happy hour prices that are the cheapest in town whether you fancy a shot of tequila, a Margarita or one of the many cold beers that they have to offer.
